Ashton Blaise Whitty was born 1 October, 1995 in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actor who has been featured in Choices 2010. The Heart and Other Small Shapes 2006 as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film-maker and actor family. Both professions she pursued herself. In 1985, she made her debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. She played the lead as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo, 1989. Michele Soavi directed The Church 1989. Next, in 1989 she was Nanni Moretti's (also directed) daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends (1992), directed and written by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional profession. It was her first time moving between roles for young girls to complex and mature roles. Cannes International Film Festival received the film with great awe. Trauma (1996) and The Stendhal Sydrome are the other films she has worked on with her famous father. The Phantom of the Opera is the third film she has acted in together with her father, which includes Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's dedication and passion for acting has also been used for the part of Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot. It was an international part. The collaboration she had with Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another award, this time the David di Donatello and Grolla of Oro. In 1994, Asia decided to try her hand at directing and turned out two short films: Prospettive In 1996 she directed a documentary on her father. In 1998, one on the cult director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998) that won an award at the Rome Film Festival. The year 1999 was the year that Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), in which she was the lead actress as well as the writer of the screenplay. In May 2000, the film premiered in Italy and across the world. The film was awarded a prize during the Williamsburg International Film Festival, Brooklyn. After directing numerous music videos, she gave birth to the first of her daughters, Anna Lou. She was in 2002 on the screen as The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton along with Jean-Marc Barr, and in the action thriller directed by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is the creator of a number of short stories which were published in a variety of magazines.
